Citroen’s owned dealer group will expand into Ireland before the end of this year with the opening of a new showroom in Dublin.

The new showroom, which will also act as the new headquarters for Citroën Ireland, will be the first Irish based dealership within the Citroën Retail Group portfolio, which already owns 12 sites across the UK.

Located at the Airside Retail Park in Swords, the site expands Citroën Ireland’s accessibility across the Dublin market. It also increases Citroën’s national network to 27 dealerships in Ireland (five within the Dublin area).

David Peel, Citroën Retail Group chief executive for UK and Ireland, said: “The announcement of our new site in Dublin demonstrates the dynamic expansion of the Retail Group and comes during a very exciting time for the brand.

“The new Dublin dealership will open its doors ahead of the key January car sales month with customers being able to visit the new showroom from the end of the year.

"We are confident that the new site will become a flagship and we look forward to establishing it as a premier destination for new Citroën customers in Ireland.”
