Alex Wright has purchased the freehold of the site home to his Shoreham Vehicle Auctions business, committing his business to the Lancing area for the long term.
Shoreham Vehicle Auctions paid an undisclosed sum for the four acre site which employs 30 people.
Alex Wright said the company posted 25% growth year-on-year to 7,500 vehicles.
“We are working with more and more local companies to help them turn their vehicles into cash quickly and efficiently, whilst more national brands such as the RSPCA, Peugeot Financial Services and Motability are using us to get the best price for their ex fleet vehicles,” he added.
Wright bought SVA after spending a decade with Manheim Auctions as commercial vehicle Director.
The site consists of two auction halls, a valeting bay, onsite restaurant and an MoT testing station and service bay which is open to the public and the trade.
