Ahead of opening UK order books later this month, Dacia has confirmed the new car warranty terms for its hotly-anticipated Duster SUV range: 3 year/60,000 miles with the option to extend to up to seven years.

Despite its ‘shockingly affordable’ prices, Dacia is mindful that British consumers are likely to be wary of an unfamiliar brand, so is aiming to give ‘complete peace-of-mind’ to first-time buyers.

In addition to a warranty supported by parent company, Renault, the fledgling marque will offer a 5 year/60,000 miles warranty for only £395 and a 7 year/100,000 miles warranty for £850.

The extended warranties can be specified at the time of purchase to ensure the ‘level of cover does not drop’, with each including roadside assistance for the duration of the policy.

Even adding on the costliest option, Dacia says British buyers will be better off compared to the competition to the tune of several thousand pounds.
