Martin McCourt has been appointed chairman of the CAP board of directors following Montagu’s acquisition of the car pricing specialist in May.
McCourt, former CEO of Dyson, was named Orange Business Leader of the Year in 2010 before joining private equity specialists Montagu in March this year.
He will lead monthly board meetings and support CAP’s existing team of directors through plans to drive growth through in all fields, from technological innovation to customer service.
At Dyson , McCourt was responsible for product development and growth, allowing founder James Dyson to concentrate on technological developments.
Ian Rendle, CAP CEO, said: “Martin’s vast experience of a wide range of brands and markets is clearly of huge appeal to CAP and is another important step to gearing the business for growth. I am confident he will add great value, support and guidance in taking CAP forward in a way that we previously never dared to dream.”
