Carmaker launches online service booking for network

Seat UK has launched online service booking for its retail network.

Available via it requires consumers to enter the mileage and registration of their car, select their chosen Seat dealership, confirm the type of service required and choose a convenient booking date and time.

Seat's aftersales retention manager Anna Chudley said: “We’re thrilled to be launching online service booking this week, which makes it easier than ever for a Seat owner to book their car into a nearby dealership.

This sort of convenience, combined with the quality of workmanship and service that all Seat dealerships provide, are yet more reasons why owning a Seat is an absolute joy.”

The brand, part of Volkswagen Group, has also marked the 10,000th sale of its fixed price servicing scheme for customers with cars aged 3+ years.

Grants Seat in Braintree, Essex, was the dealer to notch up the deal, nine months after Seat UK launched the scheme, branded 'It's Fixed'.

Customer Stephen Allsop of Witham in Essex was handed back a cheque for the cost of the service and presented with Seat gifts to mark being the 10,000th customer nationwide.
