Dealers offering motability cars can now benefit from enhanced training and a new e-learning programme introduced by Motability Operations.

Available to all 5,000 Motability dealerships around the UK, the new e-learning modules have dedicated content for both sales and aftersales specialists.

Hosted online, the training modules cover topics such as scheme developments, disability confidence, customer service and advice on managing the vehicle condition description process at the end of a lease.

As the e-learning training is online, any modules can be ‘bookmarked’ so dealers can take a break and return at a time convenient to them. This allows dealers to dip in and out of the training and also access the completed module at any time as a refresher session.

Chris Milton, manufacturer and dealer relations training manager at Motability Operations commented; “We’ve had a great response to the new e-learning programme so far. Over 4,200 dealers have signed up since the launch last summer. With substantially reduced costs for 2013, dealers can be confident that they are getting a great deal this New Year.”

In addition to the e-learning training, Motability Operations offers classroom-based training days for dealers who have completed the online training.
