A record year of sales has seen privately owned and run Luscombe Suzuki Leeds become the most successful dealer for the brand in the UK.
In 2012 new car registrations increased 40% to 501 new units compared to 356 in 2011 – this now makes Hunset business officially the largest Suzuki dealer in the UK. The total of both new and used car sales increased by 18% year on year with an increase in overall turnover of 15%.
Managing director Robin Luscombe said: “At Luscombe Suzuki Leeds we pride ourselves on offering the very best service, care and support to all our customers and we are pleased that this has been reflected in our increase in business. We believe that by making buyers feel relaxed and giving them the breathing space and time to browse at their leisure, they are far more likely to go ahead with a sale.
"Our sales team are empowered to deal with customers rather than going back and forth to a manager in a far away office. Our motto of ‘straight talking salesmen and managers who come out of the office’ has proved successful since launching the business just two and a half years ago. We want to banish forever the trepidation felt by people buying new and used cars and want them to enjoy the time they spend in our showroom.

The focus for 2013 at Luscombe Suzuki Leeds is on customer retention – their first initiative for this year has been to mail their database with a lottery ticket for this Saturday’s lottery.
