Ridgeway Group has expanded with Skoda in Newbury after taking over previous operators, Whitequay Limited who went into administration at the end of January.
The Newbury site is a stand-alone Skoda dealership and joins Ridgeway’s Jewson Škoda business in Oxford.
John O’Hanlon, Ridgeway Group’s chief executive, said: “The opening of a new dealership in Newbury strengthens our relationship with Škoda and our home town of Newbury employing a further 12 people bringing the total employed in the town to over 170.
“Skoda is the perfect complement to our premium brand’s portfolio (already operating Audi and Volkswagen in the area).”
Ridgeway Group has a strong relationship with the Volkswagen Group of brands and also represents Mercedes-Benz, Smart, BMW and Mini.
