Titan Dealer Management Solutions (Titan DMS), an Australian developer and supplier of cloud based automotive dealer software, has expanded its global reach through the opening of a UK office.

Following its successful distribution agreement throughout South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa with Compatible Information Systems (CIS) in 2010, the establishment of local operations in the United Kingdom is in line with strategic plans for continued global expansion.

Managing director of Titan DMS, Matthew Kroll said: “We are delighted to now have a local presence in the UK. We have experienced exceptional dealer acceptance of our cloud based DMS in Asia Pacific and have seen subscription numbers grow over 100% annually for the last 3 years.

"Our research into the United Kingdom and European markets has shown a very similar competitive landscape to that in Asia Pacific and with our modern SaaS* technology platform, and highly intuitive products covering all aspects of dealership operations, we believe our solutions can bring unique productivity and profitability benefits to all dealers”.

Titan DMS has appointed Pierre Lawrence as its UK manager of operations. Lawrence was previously the development manager at Network Business Solutions (NBS), a subsidiary of Toyota GB.

“Pierre has a wealth of knowledge of the DMS market in the United Kingdom, and through his previous role as development manager for NBS has the technical background and commercial experience at all levels of a dealerships operation.

"He will help guide the European expansion during this important new phase for our business. We are very committed to this market and we recognised the importance of securing the right person to guide it. We believe Pierre is the perfect fit for the business” said Kroll.

Titan DMS offers a cloud based DMS that is deployed as a hosted SaaS solution and does not require dealers to invest in expensive local servers or tie up valuable IT resources for systems maintenance tasks.

Titan DMS’s flagship product Titan is a newly developed system designed for global application. Since 2009, Titan has been adopted by dealerships covering over 35 different automotive brands throughout Australia and South Africa.

Titan is distributed throughout South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa as MotaData through local Automotive Software Provider, Compatible Holdings
