Progress Automotive Solutions and Responsive Digital rebrand

Progress Automotive Solutions and its digital marketing subsidiary, Responsive Digital are rebranding under the new name of Razoom.

Carl Lightfoot, managing director of Razoom, said the decision had been made to unite the two businesses under a new name following a period of investment in new products over the last two years and future expansion plans for the business.

The rebrand will see the combined company provide software for the sales, aftersales and fleet management market.

Responsive Digital will continue to provide website development and digital marketing for dealers under the Razoom name.

The Newbury-based company is looking to expand its workforce by 25% in preparation for three new products launching early this year.

Razoom will also be opening two new sales and customer support offices in Toronto and Dubai, as the business expands on a global basis. The UK team will continue to lead development.

Carl Lightfoot, managing director of Razoom, said: “The rebrand is a culmination of two year’s work. We put a strategic and financial plan in place for the expansion of the business and the rebranding exercise is a reflection of that total effort.”

Lightfoot said it would be ‘business as usual’ for existing customers.

Razoom will relaunch its aftersales management programme Workshop Pro, with an overhauled system called CustomerVue, which will be the flagship product for the business. The new system lets dealers track workshop productivity, incorporates customer analytics and customer engagement across multiple locations and regions.

The second new product for launch in Q2 will be CarVue, a cloud-based garage management system for smaller independent workshops. CarVue will be sold on a monthly subscription basis and aims to give smaller garages aftersales management systems seen in more sophisticated dealers, with online service booking, job ticketing, vehicle health check management, as well as customer invoicing and follow up.

Razoom will also launch FleetVue in the second quarter of 2014. The new product is a fleet focussed version of CustomerVue which has been designed to help manage a fleet of vehicles across single or multiple locations.
