Accountancy firm MHA MacIntyre Hudson has become the UK member firm of Baker Tilly International.

Steve Freeman, who heads up MHA's motor retail team in the UK, said the the move will provide the opportunity to use the Baker Tilly International network to increase the size of his motor sector team and to advise more international dealer groups.

Geoff Barnes, Baker Tilly International chief executive and president, said: “Our due diligence showed that our values, culture and work ethic are strongly aligned and that we are both committed to delivering high quality advice through the best people in key markets.

"As well as sharing our values and commitment to client service, MHA MacIntyre Hudson has demonstrated a very successful track record, notably by increasing their revenues in a difficult market by nearly 30% over the last five years.

"Being awarded National Firm of the Year in the British Accountancy Awards in 2013, and being shortlisted again in 2014, are very positive affirmations of their ambition, growth and success. Our new member firm also brings to our network the MHA network of nine high quality firms providing client service and coverage across the UK.”
