Manheim, part of the global Cox Automotive group, has confirmed two senior appointments at its UK operations.

Martin Forbes and Tim Hudson have been appointed as managing directors of Manheim Retail Services and Manheim Remarketing.

Forbes, who joins Manheim Retail Services early in the New Year, brings a wealth of specialist digital marketing expertise to the business, having spent the past eight years at the helm of two leading global media companies.

Hudson returns to the UK after a two year spell as chief executive of Manheim’s Asia Pacific operations, where he has been leading a business transformation programme to grow the brand in the international market.

These two new senior appointments signal a strong strategic direction for Manheim, which will focus the business even further on its objective to be the clear leader in the global vehicle market place.

Chief executive officer of Manheim UK Michael Buxton said: “These two appointments will be key to our continuing success and demonstrate the commitment we have to bringing about exciting change in the global and dynamic automotive market place. Our joined-up approach to meeting the needs of manufacturers, motor retailers and fleet companies will be hugely enhanced with these recruits to our business.”

Forbes and Hudson will report directly to Buxton and will take up their positions during the first quarter of 2015.
