Porsche dealerships are gearing up for the launch of GTS models of the Boxster and Cayman.

The new Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS are both in showrooms from May and enhance the driving experience further with an uprated engine and specific chassis tuning.

Buyers get a complimentary driving course at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone.

Porsche has tuned the 3.4-litre flat six engine on each car to gain an extra 15hp, pushing the Boxster GTS up to 330hp and the Cayman up to 340hp.

With standard six-speed transmission the GTS, which comes with sport chrono package and Porsche Active Suspension Management as standard, is the first Boxster capable of 174mph while the Cayman can hit 177mph.

The Boxster GTS features subtle visual clues to its identity, including black finish 20in Carrera S alloys, a front spoiler and black finish Bi-Xenon headlights and a re-styled rear lower apron.

Inside, there are sports seats and leather trim as standard. Like other GTS models, the interior ambience is refined with Alcantara elements.

The new Boxster GTS is available to order now priced from £52,879, and the Cayman GTS is priced from £55,397. Both will be arriving in UK Porsche Centres from May.
