Retail Automotive Alliance partners with Autorola for online remarketing

The Retail Automotive Alliance (RAA), which represents 22 dealer group partners, has appointed Autorola as its online remarketing partner after a recent six month pilot sold over £5 million of used cars.

The RAA trading group has over 200 retail sites and will use Autorola’s online sales platform to sell unwanted and over age used stock.

RAA member Essex Auto Group, which has five sites, sells around 500 cars annually online through Autorola at an average price of between £8,500-£9,000.

Mike Brown, deputy managing director of Essex Auto Group, said: “We are predominantly a retail oriented dealer group and often have more used cars than we can retail.

“Seamlessly uploading cars online when they reach 45 days in stock and still having the car for sale on a forecourt works well for our locations plus improves used car stocking efficiencies.”
