Keeping systems up to date has been a long-standing headache for dealers and DMS providers alike.

Where previously an in-house DMS may have been updated yearly, ploughing through a hefty set of release notes could be tedious even if the process ran smoothly. Staff also needed to be appraised of what had changed.

With a cloud platform, the system can be updated as needed, giving dealers bite-sized chunks of new functionality frequently rather than one indigestible lump every year.  ADP, for example, provides monthly updates to Autoline Drive users and Pinewood refreshes Pinnacle every fortnight.
