Jardine Motor Group is set to invest £12 million on the construction of a new Jaguar Land Rover dealership.

The new 3.5 acre site, situated fronting the A26 in Tonbridge, Kent, was acquired from a private land owner by the Automotive and Roadside team at Colliers International.

A 43,300 sq ft showroom and dealership is expected to open to customers in December 2018, relocating Sevenoaks Jaguar and Tonbridge Land Rover to the new facility.

Colliers Internationals’ director of the Automotive and Roadside team, Anthony Keohane (pictured), said: “With this investment from Jardine Motor Group, the new dealership will provide a state of the art showroom facility for Jaguar Land Rover and include features such as 18 car showroom, 24 bay workshop and a 100 used car display.”

Jardine Motors Group’s brand director Darren Jennings said: “The upcoming new site is part of our ongoing investment into our partnership with Jaguar Land Rover and our roadmap to create new dual-brand ‘Arch’ dealerships.

“With the development of a new state-of-the-art dealership, we’re supporting both our own and the brand’s innovative and technological retail ambitions by creating an environment which appeals to our customers.”
