Jardine Motors Group has increased its Audi footprint with the transformation of a former Mazda dealership into an Audi Approved used car centre.

The centre, at Erdington, was purchased by Jardine Motors Group from Colliers Group last year and had been operating as a Mazda dealership but the facility has been re-fitted and staff retrained as part of an operation which takes the group’s total Audi footprint to 12 sites.

Ian Fotheringham, brand manager at Audi Approved Erdington, said that the change in business would help drive the business forward as it aims to deliver ambitious growth plans in 2017, adding: “We look forward to a seamless transition from Mazda to Audi and continuing to grow as one of the UK’s largest Audi dealership groups.”

Jardine4’s Audi-trained team of astaff at the Erdington site has grown with the recent changes and now numbers 31.

As well as providing used car sales, servicing and parts for customers the new Audi facility will support its additional Audi new car centres by serving as a parts hub for the surrounding dealerships.

Andy Davies, Audi brand director at Jardine Motors Group, said: “Following on the success of 2016 where our Audi dealerships won the coveted ‘Divisional Award 2016’ from Audi UK, this dealership rebrand shows how invested we are in being one of the leading Audi dealership groups.

“We believe our partnership with the Audi brand is key to our overall business growth and we are making significant steps to go from strength to strength.”
