Toyota and Lexus is now in partnership with WhoCanFixMyCar.com, the comparison site for drivers looking to find a great local garage or dealership, bringing the network of 250 dealerships on board.

In Q2 2015, £300,000 of Toyota and Lexus servicing and repair leads were posted on the site.

Paul Marshall, general manager aftersales at Toyota GB, said:  “Providing an excellent, competitively priced service or repair is paramount to us. The customer journey has changed and embracing alternative digital channels is important in retaining customers.”

“WhoCanFixMyCar.com enables our dealers to demonstrate our competitiveness to those owners who may have bought a car outside the franchise network and to win back customers otherwise lost. The low commission cost per job, known in advance of quoting, also proved an attractive proposition to us and the dealer network.”

Alex Rose, WhoCanFixMyCar.com’s marketing director, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Toyota and Lexus networks on board, for precisely the same reason we signed up the Ford network in the spring: while our lead volumes have grown drastically (approaching 10-fold in 18 months), our garage numbers haven’t increased at quite the same rate, leaving work on the table in certain parts of the country.

“It’s not a good experience for our users, but clearly it’s a great opportunity for garages of the appropriate scale and quality.

“With Toyota and Lexus offering competitive fixed-price servicing to retain or reclaim lapsed service customers, it’s a perfect fit.

“And we also have several developments in the pipeline that will not only bring in more business for these dealerships but also make it quicker and simpler to manage the volume of work going through. We look forward to unveiling them later in the summer.”

WhoCanFixMyCar.com provides motorists with a way to find a local garage or mechanic.

Site visitors enter their vehicle details, postcode and requirements, and nearby garages provide a job quote and any additional information required. Motorists book in with their chosen garage based on location, price and detailed feedback provided by the garage’s previous customers.
