Crash repair network Fix Auto has gained its fourth Fix & Go rapid repair centre after transforming a building opposite the existing Fix Auto Mid Devon bodyshop in Crediton.

Just under two years since bodyshop owner Louise Woolacott and her team invested £450,000 to redevelop their main bodyshop, a rapidly-growing customer base created a need for the family business to consider creating additional repair capacity.

The business decided to create a close-by express repair centre and work began on creating the new facility in late 2015.

The Fix & Go centre has been equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and heating systems, a moveable spraybrooth and new flooring, all of which will enable the centre to repair up to 20 vehicles a week.

Woolacott, who runs the business alongside her daughters Alena and Erika, said: “Developing our own express repair facility is the natural progression for Fix Auto Mid Devon.

"We’ve experienced a phenomenal response from our insurance and fleet clients since redeveloping our main site.

"The new facility will allow us to triage lighter damaged vehicles that can be repaired in under two days, and in doing so it will free up the main site to carry out heavier repair jobs.”
