Mercedes-Benz Vans is demonstrating its expertise to prospective customers in supporting the upcoming Freight Transport Association (FTA) Van Excellence Operational Briefings.

Drivers and people are the main focus of the three briefings, in Surrey, Glasgow and Nottingham this month, which will cover strategies and processes for reducing risk and the impact of shortfalls.

Andy Eccles, head of business development, Mercedes-Benz Vans, will be delivering the sponsors address for the operational briefings. He said: “This is a hugely important topic for our customers, and as such, we are delighted to be supporting these FTA Van Excellence events for the second year.

“We work very much in partnership with our customers and we know that compliance is a hot topic in their businesses, so by helping fleets to explore operational best practice, whether they are an existing Van Excellence member, or an operator keen to know where to begin, is something we are proud to support.”

Mark Cartwright, FTA’s head of vans, said: “The Van Excellence Operational Briefings provide practical, informative and essential advice from operators, experts and enforcers, and provides attendees peace of mind surrounding the operation of their van fleet.”
