Heads of London companies were invited to Fiat Group’s flagship Motor Village Marylebone car dealership last week for its inaugural ‘Business Club’ networking event.

The Wigmore Street site – usually home to cars such as the Fiat 500 and Alfa Romeo Giulietta – was converted into a meeting and networking arena.

Drinks and light canapés were served as guests listened to invited speakers including Richard Gadeselli, chairman of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Services UK, and Fabio Di Prima, managing director of Motor Village UK, the manufacturer’s own dealer group.

Fiat said the Motor Village Marylebone site is ideal for business events such as this, thanks to its central London position and unique design and space. Situated just off Oxford Street, the showroom was originally created in 2008 with exhibitions, displays and receptions in mind, as well as the ability to display and sell cars.

Last year, the showroom was used for a similar event hosted by Fulham Football Club, with which Motor Village has an Official Car Partner relationship.

“This is the first time we have held a Business Club event of our own,” said Di Prima.

“I’m delighted how the evening went, giving us the opportunity to build relationships with our clients while telling them more about the range of cars we have here. It’s the first of many business events like this to come.”
