Preston dealer group Bowker is expanding to sell motorbikes at its Preston Docks headquarters.
Bowker opens its BMW Motorrad motorcycle dealership on October 17 after acquiring Southport Superbikes last year.
A 13,000 square foot showroom will be home to more than 40 bikes and takes the Bowker dealership to six acres at Preston Docks.
Chief executive Paul Bowker told Blog Preson: “The building is really taking shape now. The building will be seen by thousands of Prestonians every day and have a massive impact on the landmark Preston site.”
Ten full-time jobs are being created to staff the centre.
Bowker Motorrad head of business Geraldine Bowers-Lyon said: “It’s good news for North West motorcycle enthusiasts too.
We are opening one of the most modern dealerships in the country. This will offer even more support, choice and inspiration for old and new motorcycling adventurers in the region.”
