More than 40 vehicles have been deliberately damaged at an Arnold Clark dealership.

The cost of repairing the “significant damage” is put at five-figures at the centre in Kirkcaldy.

The vandalism is believed to have taken place at about 5am on Saturday.

The cars were broken into and then vandalised.

PC Kevin Deehan, of Police Scotland, said: “At this time we are working to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the damage caused.

“Officers are continuing inquiries and will be studying CCTV images in an effort to glean further information.

“Given the scale of the damage caused, there would have been considerable noise and I would urge anyone who remembers hearing or seeing anything suspicious to come forward.”
