Perrys has achieved a highly commended at the The Drum content awards for Best Automotive Content Marketing Strategy/Campaign.

Perrys were up against some of the UK’s biggest manufacturers including Skoda, Nissan and Jeep. Vauxhall won the award for its Siberia Challenge which saw a team of ex-servicemen drive from Europe to Siberia for Help for Heroes in the new Vauxhall Vivaro.

Lee Manning, Perrys digital marketing manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be recognised for our content strategy.

“To be the only dealer group in the shortlist is a huge honour for Perrys alone, to actually receive commendation over so many big hitters is just incredible.”

Perrys was recognised for its Facebook posts, YouTube content and car reviews from its editorial staff.

Manning said: “All Perrys employees understand digital marketing’s importance and have supported our efforts so fantastically well.”

The Drum has offices in New York, London and Glasgow and has reports on the latest marketing across all industries since 1985.

A judging panel composed of marketing experts expected nominees to show “clear strategic thinking, innovation, effectiveness and tangible results.”

In the last 18 months Perrys have won 15 awards including Best Use of Video, Best Social Media Campaign and Best Digital Initiative at the AM awards.
