The Rybrook Group will represent Jaguar and Land Rover in Huddersfield and Land Rover in Halifax following the completion of its acquisition of the businesses from Perrys for an undisclosed sum yesterday.

The businesses will trade as Rybrook Copley Land Rover, Rybrook Huddersfield Land Rover and Rybrook Jaguar Huddersfield.

All staff have been retained.

The new additions increase the acquisitive Warwick-based group’s dealerships to 19.

“The acquisition of Jaguar and Land Rover in Huddersfield and Halifax complements our existing Jaguar and Land Rover sites in the North West.

“I'd like to extend a warm welcome to our new colleagues upon joining the Rybrook family, their expertise and experience is a valuable asset to our group.” said Henry Whale, Rybrook’s managing director.

Perry Motor Sales was advised on the sale by David Kendrick & Paul Daly, partners at UHY Hacker Young Automotive.

Daly said: "The disposal represents yet more change in the Jaguar Land Rover network as the brand continues to restructure it’s network.  The businesses are very profitable, well run operations and form a great base for Rybrook to establish their first presence east of the Pennines into the Yorkshire area.”

It operates in the Midlands, Wales and the North West with Rybrook Specialist Cars in Solihull and is opening Bentley, Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, plus a first floor Rybrook Specialist Cars showroom in Bristol this summer.
