Trenton Group maintains Peugeot's presence in Hull

Simon Roberts, dealer principal at Trenton Group's new Peugeot facility in Hull

The Trenton Group has moved in to maintain Peugeot’s presence in Hull after JCT600 closed its franchise in the city citing “commercial reasons”.

The French brand told AM that it would not surrender its presence in the region after the Hull Daily Mail reported that the former JCT600 facility off Strickland Street had closed suddenly in early July.

Trenton Group has invested £150,000 to introduce the Peugeot franchise to its existing Nissan facility on Witham Road, Hull.

It introduces Peugeot to the Group which had existing Nissan franchises in Hull and Grimsby.

Dealer principal, Simon Roberts, said: “Our team has worked incredibly hard to create an impressive facility and this will help us to fulfil our vision to deliver the best level of service and expand the range of Peugeot vehicles available to customers in Hull.

“The new Peugeot Trenton Motors Dealership has been in development for some time and we are looking forward to welcoming local drivers to look around the showroom.”

Customers can take advantage of the 12 vehicle showroom and five bay workshop, which offer sales and service facilities and mobility vehicles, alongside an off-site body shop and aftersales department.
