Lloyd Motor Group's Blackpool dealership in the running for global BMW customer care award

Lloyd Motor Group’s Blackpool dealership has been named in the ‘best dealer in customer care’ category as part of  BMW Group’s international ‘Excellent in Sales’ competition.

It comes after the centre was named BMW Retailer of the Year by BMW UK earlier this year.

Lloyd Blackpool will be the UK’s sole representative in these awards which are the culmination of regional and national evaluations of around 3,000 retailers from 80 markets. 

Lloyd Blackpool has been named among five other BMW retailers from China, Germany, Malaysia, Mexico and Indonesia in this category. 

Mark Powell, head of business at Lloyd Blackpool, said: “With only 35 other nominees across the six awards categories, to have been recognized at this level in such a competitive and professional global retailer network is an exceptional honour in itself.”

Including ‘excellence in sales’ patron Dr Ian Robertson, the category sponsors and regional directors, the jury will meet in Munich to review the performance and achievements of all finalists in detail - and then elect the global winners of each category.

The award ceremony takes place at the BMW Group Classic Automobile Museum in Munich on Tuesday.

Powell said: “We believe there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach so we endeavour to understand each customer’s individual requirements and match them with the vehicle and experience that will suit them best. Thanks to this approach we are highly-rated for customer service and loyalty.”

Lloyd Blackpool invited all its customers to share in an “Evening of Celebration” last week for champagne and Indian cuisine.
