Robins and Day has opened a new DS Automobiles store in Manchester, billing the neww development as the “largest dedicated DS store in the North West”.

The store, on Windsor Street, Salford, has room to display up to six vehicles and customers can enjoy bespoke leather seating, air-conditioning and a DS scent diffuser, according to a statement issued by the PSA Group-owned group.

DS Manchester’s general manager, Jason Chick, said: “The new DS Store Manchester has a very different feel to a traditional car showroom, being very obviously premium and spacious while providing customers with a feeling of well-being while within the DS experience that is so much more intimate and engaging for them while with us.”

A dedicated area of sample materials will enable customers to engage with the interior and the DS Virtual Vision experience will give them HD viewing capabilities.

They can then explore the full-size ‘virtual’ car as if the real thing and personalise trim levels, and interior materials with the 3D technology.

DS Automotive UK’s marketing director, Mark Blundell, said:“We’ve used intuitive technology such as DS Virtual Vision to be at the forefront of new ways for our customers to specify, experience and buy a new car in order to make their lives easier and better informed.”
