Arnold Clark is set to create 85 new jobs with the creation of a new Motorstore used car supermarket on the outskirts of Wolverhampton.

The AM100 car retail group will create the new development on an four-acre plot at the Pantheon Park industrial estate in Wednesfield, which is close to its existing GTG Training Centre and vehicle rental facility in Bearing Drive.

Land owners Stoford Developments and Bridges Ventures, which will complete the new facility’s construction, expect to get development work underway by the end of the year.

The Motorstore is expected to be completed by spring 2019, subject to planning approval.

Quoted on the online news site, Derek Cuthbertson, estates manager for Arnold Clark, said: "The business has had an active requirement for a site capable of accommodating a motorstore for some five years now.

"Following an exhaustive site search across the local area, the land at Pantheon Park has emerged as the only one meeting our specific requirements."
