Breeze Volkswagen has secured a deal to supply more than 200 vehicles to Bill Plant Motoring School.

More than 50% of the driving school’s franchises chose to switch to the Volkswagen brand citing its whole life cost for the reason and Breeze were among the main beneficiaries of the decision.

Bill Plant Driving School’s managing director, Jake Plant, said: “We have in the region of 600 franchises across the country and obviously the car is the tool of their trade.

“Although it’s our responsibility to secure the best package for our franchises it is ultimately down to them to make the final decision on their vehicle.

“The Volkswagen Golf was overwhelmingly the most popular choice due to its excellent residual value, safety features and comfort, and we are expecting more franchises to make the switch.

“As our headquarters is based in Rippon, West Yorkshire, Breeze Volkswagen is mostly certainly not on our doorstep but, having worked with the company before, we knew the standard of service and care we would receive, so the distance was not an issue.”

The ongoing servicing of the Volkswagen fleet will be maintained by the franchisee’s closest retailer.

Breeze Volkswagen’s fleet manager Martin Pye: “We are very pleased to have forged this partnership.

“Our dedicated fleet department is focused on understanding our customers’ needs to help find them the best solution. I’m very proud of my team and that our reputation has preceded us.”
