Marshall Motor Group has joined a UK campaign where members agree to work towards filling at least 30% of key leadership positions with women by 2030 through a “30 by 30” strategy.

The UK Automotive 30% Club is a voluntary group of managing directors and chief executives from automotive manufacturing, retailing and supplier companies.

Daksh Gupta, Marshall Motor Holdings chief executive, said: “Striving to have a greater representation of women in our leadership roles is an important business objective for us and I am proud to become a member of the UK Automotive 30% Club to help support that aim.”

Julia Muir, chief executive of Gaia Innovation, and founder of the Club, welcomed Marshall in working towards the shared goal of achieved a better gender balance in the automotive sector.
