Rapid RTC has expanded its sales and support team following a series of new business wins.

The company, which recently added John Clark Motor Group to its expanding list of customers and will soon announce more new accounts, believes it is “better positioned than ever” to support automotive retailers undergoing periods of digital transformation.

Heading up the UK team is Pontus Riska (pictured), who has been promoted to the role of vice president of sales and support. It’s the second promotion in as many years for Riska, who has extensive experience working with automotive IT solutions providers.

Further support comes from Matthew Cheyne, director, national and major accounts, who is responsible for the top 25 dealer groups.

Darren Preddy, director of dealer sales, responsible for growing Rapid RTC’s dealership customer base has also increased his team to cover the growing product demand.

Five new regional managers have recently joined the team, with Matt Maley responsible for Scotland and Ireland, James Anglesea looking after the North West, Clive Cullen in the South, and Joe Mack in the South West. A further two regional managers are about to be appointed to cover the North East and Central Eastern regions.

Riska said: “We’ve enjoyed an incredible start to 2019 with more than 1,000 automotive retailers now using our innovative digital lead management and Chat technology.

“As we continue to grow our customer base, we are committed to also growing our team to ensure we are always delivering a premium service to all our current and future partners. I’m confident that we have the very best team in place to support all our customers on their digital transformation journeys, helping them to enjoy the increase in leads and sales that our technology provides.”
