TrustFord has celebrated the opening of its new £2.2m FordStore in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol, following a £2.2 million investment in new facilities and interactive technology for its customers.

Elena Ford, chief customer experience officer of Ford Motor Company officially launched the new site alongside the AM100 group’s chairman and chief executive, Stuart Foulds, and several members of the TrustFord board and leadership team.

The new Cribbs Causeway FordStore will employ 54 and occupies 5,500 square metres of additional space, with capacity to handle over 2,000 vehicles a year.

Foulds said: “Our new FordStore here at Cribbs Causeway comes as part of the significant investment we’re making across the TrustFord network.

“This opening is a key milestone for us, and gives us both the scale and resources to meet our customers’ needs today and, importantly, into the future.

“I’m looking forward to seeing how these new state-of-the-art facilities will help colleagues here in Bristol to continue to drive the standard in customer care, delivering the best possible experience for our customers, and excellence in service that they are known for.”

In addition to technologies like TrustFord’s PowerWall – a large format display that lets customers visualise a car built to their custom specification in near-life size – the site will also offer TrustFord NOW, which allows customers to drive away selected new and used vehicles the very same day, and Service NOW, which guarantees vehicles are serviced in 60 minutes.
