Jobs created as Ancaster opens Welling Hyundai dealership

Ancaster Group has expanded its workforce by 15 people and opened a Hyundai dealership in Welling, Kent.

It is Ancaster's second dealership representing Hyundai. The AM100 dealer group launched its first at Croydon last October.

Stephen Wood, managing director of Ancaster Group said: “We are delighted to bring Hyundai to Welling and build on our very close ties with the local community. This is the second Hyundai dealership within the group and cements an already great relationship with this fast growing brand.”

Ancaster Hyundai in Welling has an eight car showroom, a forecourt for 35 used cars and a seven bay workshop plus dedicated MOT bay.

The property was previously temporarily home to a Nissan franchise, which Ancaster had relocated from Eltham to allow for redevelopment of its showroom. It returned to Eltham earlier this year.

Ranked 99th in the latest AM100 with £131 million annual revenues, Ancaster Group also has Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Nissan franchises across 14 locations in the South of England.

It now employs more than 310 staff.
