BMW and Mini dealers will offer pay monthly service plans to customers through a new partnership with EMaC.

The new initiative was launched as part of BMW Group UK’s drive to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Yvonne Holden, general manager – aftersales development at BMW Group UK, said: “Our Pay Monthly programme is a fundamental part of our service product portfolio.

"As customers continue to demand increased flexibility, our partnership with EMaC allows us to market a product which offers more flexibility and convenience than ever before, as well as additional added value such as a free MOT.”

The BMW and Mini ‘Pay Monthly’ Service Plans are focussed on offering customers convenience and flexibility to enhance their ownership experience.

Owners can spread service and maintenance costs, rather than paying them upfront. The service agreement can also be amended if the customer decided to upgraded vehicle within the contract period.

EMaC has provided service plans, retailer support and consumer solutions to BMW Group UK for the last two years. It will continue to provide training to BMW and Mini dealers to ensure all sales and aftersales teams fully understand the benefits of the new pay monthly product.

In January, Vauxhall Motors UK partnered with EMaC to launch a national new and nearly new car service plan called Vauxhall Care.

Costing £19 per month for all petrol cars or £22 a month for diesel, the plan includes three years servicing, two years extra roadside assistance and the vehicle’s first MOT test.

It can be purchased in two ways; a one-off payment or 35 equal monthly instalments.
