Vavoom targets electric vehicle adopters with 'climate positive' offer

A new leasing brokerage has launched with a focus on helping consumers make the transition into electric cars.

Cheadle-based Vavoom Leasing has entered the business and personal contract hire market with an eye on helping secure a greener future for clients.

It has put energy solutions at its core, and the business says it will explore efficient ways of using energy and reducing emissions through battery electric vehicles and hybrids, and ensure where possible it will secure its clients' charging solutions ahead of vehicle delivery.

Vavoom is headed by founder Michael Berger and operations director Jonathan Wise, a former national sales manager with Leaseplan.

Wise said it will help educate and provide consultancy on all aspects of EV adoption, which will rise syeadily towards 2030, when the UK Government aims to ban sales of new cars which have only internal combustion engines.

In the next five years Vavoom expects to grow its workforce to 50 staff.

"There are a number of points to consider for both business and personal users when leasing an EV and we are here to help and advise every step of the way.

“The infrastructure supporting electric vehicles has grown year on year and will continually do so. It is our aim to provide as much advice and help for those customers that are ready to make the change to ensure you do so with complete confidence.

"Vavoom can provide any customer with charging solutions for the home or office. No matter how big or small.”
