Codeweavers finance tools gather data to drive dealer sales

Data gathered from online finance calculators can provide dealers with an insight that could transform “suspects” into “prospects”, according to software specialist Codeweavers.

The business’ latest finance system is capable of capturing and recording date that will help dealers identify their most popular online stock, the most popular finance products and distinguish trends in buying behaviour.

It then delivers the data direct to dealers’ ‘dashboard’ and can be viewed on a variety of devices.

Codeweavers sales director Shaun Harris said that dealers must take advantage of every opportunity to fine tune their digital presence and gain incremental sales opportunities in a sales environment where online research was now key to many customers’ buying decisions.

Describing the tools available through Codeweavers’ own online finance tools, he added: “The power of the dynamic data available is formidable and we have made it very accessible with clear dashboard reports.

“Dealers can refine their finance offer, test different creative treatments and plan their stock mix.

Perhaps, above all they know the scope of the opportunities that may have been missed and then take corrective action to drive consumer interest to action.”
