Motorists are being offered the chance to see the next electric cars joining the Kia line up and learn about life with an EV as the Kia Electric Experience tour restarts in July.
Kia UK is taking its EV4 hatchback and EV5 SUV on a tour of Kia dealerships from July 8 to November 2 to provide a showroom-based event that will answer consumers' questions about going electric.
Each event includes a vehicle unveil show and presentation and the opportunity to examine the yet-to-be-launched cars, plus attendees can also learn about Kia's electric-powered models currently on sale, including the flagship EV9 SUV, the EV6 and the compact EV3, which has won numerous awards including AM Awards New Car of the Year, UK Car of the Year and World Car of the Year.
Last year's Kia Electric Experience tour focused on the EV3.
A Kia spokesman said: "Each all-electric car offers customers a distinctive choice, and the varied model line-up highlights Kia’s ability to offer an electric car for everyone. The events also offer the opportunity to speak to experts about making the switch to an EV."
The first dealerships to host the tour this summer are Brayleys Kia at Oxford and Citygate Kia at High Wycombe on July 8, Citygate Kia at Slough and Waylands Kia at Bicester on July 9, Bletchley Kia at Milton Keynes and West End Garage Kia at Woking on July 10, and Milton Keynes Kia and Snows Kia at Guildford on July 11.
Kia has set up a dedicated Electric Experience website for local event timings for each dealership and reservations.
Last month Kia revealed the first dealerships to be included in its new van dealer network, as it prepares to launch its first electric van in the UK, the Kia PV5.
Branded as Purpose-Built Vehicle (PBV) Centres, they are set to launch in late 2025, ready for the first customer deliveries of Kia’s PV5.
The vast majority of our new PBV Centres will be managed by an existing Kia franchised dealer partner.
Pre-orders for the PV5 opened on 1 May, following its public debut at the CV Show.
