From Nissan cancelling the production of the X-Trail in Sunderland to Ford warning it would move its production abroad and Jaguar Land Rover announcing 4,500 job cuts, there have been numerous reports of the negative effects of Brexit on car manufacturers. However, the place of their franchised retail partners in the UK's vehicle supply chain is often overlooked.
