Citroën has announced the UK pricing and specification details for its new C5 Aircross SUV flagship, which is set to arrive in showrooms on February 4.

Prices will start from £23,225 for the new addition to the French car manufacturer's line-up, which will come equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the latest eight-inch HD touchscreen as standard.

The new C5 Aircross SUV will also feature the brand's ConnectedCAM Citroën and Wireless Smartphone Charging systems.

Citroën revealed in a statement that the C5 Aircross will feature 20 safety and driver assistance technologies, including Advanced Active Safety Brake, Active Lane Departure Warning and Active Blind Spot Monitoring, all of which are standard equipment.

A plug-in hybrid version will arrive in early 2020, meanwhile.

Initially available in three trim levels - Feel, Flair and Flair Plus - the C5 Aircross is powered by PureTech petrol and BlueHDi diesel engines, and offers the latest generation EAT8 fully automatic gearbox.
