The National Franchised Dealers Association's (NFDA) Spring Ball 2019 saw the roganisation award Kia with a Manufacturer Award for “impressive results” in its annual Dealer Attitude Survey.

Held at The Grove Resort in Hertfordshire, NFDA Spring Ball saw Steve Hicks (pictured), Kia's sales director, collect the Manufacturer Award while Richard Roberts, chairman of the NFDA Southern Committee and managing director of Trident Honda, won the Recognition Award thanks to his continued support of the Association.

Roberts said: “As a dealer, I am well aware of the importance of having a trade association like NFDA representing dealer interests in the part we play in the automotive retail industry.

"In turn, dealer input is crucial in setting the direction of NFDA’s activity. I am proud to have won the award and I will ensure I continue to support our great industry”.

The NFDA's Industry Initiative Award went to the NFDA HR Working Group thanks to the success of the recently launched employment initiative, Drive My Career.

Andrew Stephenson, group people director at Lookers, collected the award on behalf of the working group.

NFDA director, Sue Robinson, said: “The NFDA Spring Ball provided all our guests with an ideal opportunity to enjoy an evening of fun with retailers and key industry personalities.

“We congratulate all the award winners on their achievements and thank all those who attended and participated to raise £1,905 for Ben, the automotive charity.

"We look forward to celebrating automotive excellence with you, again, next year”.
