BCA has appointed Pendragon’s Tony Booth as managing director of its technical services division.

Booth will take up his new post as managing director of BCA Technical Services on June 1st, joining from a senior remarketing position within the AM100 dealer group.

Formerly managing director for the UK Automotive Division of Stobart – from 2011 to 2015 – an employee of BMW, Booth has more than 25 years’ experience in the industry.

BCA Marketplace executive chairman, Avril Palmer-Baunack (pictured), said: “We are delighted to welcome Tony Booth to the BCA team.

“He brings a great deal of experience and market knowledge of the automotive services sector gained at the highest level with Pendragon, Stobart and BMW.”

Palmer-Baunack added: “Tony’s appointment is further investment in BCA’s strategy to develop a range of automotive service solutions that means we can add value right along the vehicle supply chain.”

Booth’s new role encompasses the recently acquired Ambrosetti business and five additional technical services sites resulting from the SMA and Stobart acquisitions in 2015, including facilities in Henstridge, Carrington, Doncaster, Stockton and Livingston.

He will take responsibility for the profitability and operation of these sites, as well as the development of BCA's technical services strategy and managing business relations at a senior level with new and existing customers.
