Pauline Ann Best, a human resources veteran currently in the post of global people and organisation director at Specsavers Optical Group, has joined the board of Vertu Motors.

Best joined on June 1 as a non-executive director, and will sit as a member of Vertu's nominations committee and remuneration committee.

In a HR career spanning more than 30 years, Best has held a number of strategic roles including global leadership and people capability director at Vodafone and HR director at Talkland International (UK).

Vertu Motors plc, the automotive retailer with a network of 132 sales outlets across the UK, is pleased to announce that, with effect from 1 June 2016, Pauline Ann Best has joined the Board as an independent Non-executive Director.
