Vehicle remarketing company Aston Barclay has appointed David Case as its new group systems manager.

The role has been created following the company’s upgrade of its core operational system that runs all group digital services.

Aston Barclay said the appointment will allow it to “streamline” the future development of new digital services.

This includes the recently-relaunched website, live online bidding, a new vehicle inspection app developed with Cap HPI and the enhanced infrastructure to handle increasing amounts of data and all third-party processes with existing software.

Case has worked in the automotive sector for 15 years – including work with fleets, OEMs and dealer groups – alongside stints in the insurance and technology industries.

Glenn Scarborough, Aston Barclay managing director, said: “Technology is key in our industry to continue to provide an exceptional service for our customers.
“By having David on board, we can effectively maximise the potential of our growing number of systems, while helping to drive new opportunities for growth."
