Startline Motor Finance has welcomed Kevin Mooney as its new head of business intelligence to provide “expert data analysis”.

In his new role, Mooney (pictured), will take over management of performance related data, having previously worked for Barclays Wealth and Asset Management, BNP Paribas Fortis, Standard Life and British Airways.

He said: “A business like Startline generates and collects a lot of data and it is my job to work out how that information can be applied to bring about improvements in all kinds of areas, from frontline customer satisfaction to how we position ourselves in the market.

“The company has developed a very interesting proposition and I’m excited to be arriving at a point where data analysis can have such an important impact on it strategic direction.”

Startline’s chief executive, Paul Burgess, said: “The kind of expert data analysis that Kevin will be carrying out is essential to the future growth and success of Startline, and we are very pleased to welcome him to the company.”
