Lisa Brankin will replace Kevin Griffin as sales director for Ford of Britain at the beginning of 2019.

Brankin, who is currently marketing director at the blue oval's UK operation, will be responsible for all of Ford’s sales distribution channels, including the Ford dealer network and online sales, in the United Kingdom.

Previously, she was director of dealer operations where she was responsible for all sales support and dealer representation activities in the UK, including the implementation of Transit Specialist Dealer Centres and rolling out the FordStore initiative, a network of upgraded, new-look dealerships where customers can experience the full range of Ford vehicles and services.

Brankin will continue to report to Andy Barratt, chairman and managing director of Ford of Britain.

“Lisa has shown great leadership as our marketing lead in the UK over the past three years, and I know she is the right person to take on the challenges and opportunities on the sales front in what is Ford’s largest market in Europe,” Barratt said.

She joined Ford as a graduate trainee and has held various roles within Ford’s sales and marketing function in Britain, Europe and at the global level.

Kevin Griffin is retiring from Ford after more than 40 years of service.

Prior to his appointment as sales director, in 2015, Kevin Griffin was director of commercial vehicles for Ford of Europe. He held a number of other leadership roles at Ford, including director of field sales and director of fleet sales.

“Throughout his career, Kevin has displayed tremendous passion and dedication to the Ford brand, our vehicles, and to building strong relationships with our customers and dealer partners. We all wish him every happiness in his retirement,” said Barratt.

Brankin’s replacement will be announced in due course.
