Mandy Dean has been named as the new marketing director at Ford of Britain, effective immediately.

In her new role, Dean will be responsible for all of Ford’s product and communication marketing within the UK, reporting to Andy Barratt, chairman and managing director, Ford of Britain.

She replaces Lisa Brankin, who was recently appointed sales director following the retirement of Kevin Griffin.

In her previous role as marketing communications manager, Dean led the all-new Focus “Beauty of Change” campaign as well as the Ford and Time to Change “Elephant in the Transit” campaign, raising the awareness of mental health.

“I am delighted to announce Mandy’s appointment, she has wealth of experience and she enters the role at an exciting and challenging time for the UK, Ford’s largest market in Europe,” said Andy Barratt.

Dean joined Ford in 1995 on an undergraduate programme, completing two part-time degrees; a Ba(hons) Business degree and an MSc in Executive Management. After graduating, and working in various roles in manufacturing, purchasing and logistics, Dean moved to sales and marketing in 2000. Performing a variety of different roles from communications, dealer facing sales management, sales planning and advanced product marketing.
