Vehicles in Video appoints Matt Maley as sales and operations director

Matt Maley, Vehicles in Vision sales and operations director

Former Lookers, Manheim and Rapid RTC employee Matt Maley has joined automotive retail video specialist Vehicles in Video (VIV) as sales and operations director.

VIV said that Maley would bring a “wealth of knowledge” to the business as it prepares to spearhead the launch of its Sales - Aftersales & BDC Video application to the UK & Ireland dealer network.

Maley joins the business from a position as Ireland market director for Keyloop-owned Rapid RTC.

Having started his automotive career with franchised retailers, his career has also included spells as divisional quality of sale manager at Lookers’ Audi division, sales manager at Close Brothers Motor Finance and head of sales for Manheim.

VIV co-founder and chief executive, Danny Cooksey, said:  “When we had the opportunity to speak to Matt, it became apparent he was a great fit for our business, his knowledge, experience and reputation within the industry is second to none.

“We have a great product ready to go to market, it’s equally important we get the correct business infrastructure, and that starts at the top with Matt's appointment.”

VIV said that Maley will take control of all sales and operations of the business in his new role as it looks to grow its footprint and presence in the UK automotive sector.

Maley said: "Dealers and manufacturers continue to search for enhanced ways to influence the customers digital experience whilst aligning it with the internal sales process, this can be a difficult balance.

“Our applications are seamless from and internal aspect, so the sales exec buys into it from the offset, whilst allowing us to connect with the customer in real time this creates a strong first impression and influences on enquiry to appointment ratio."
