Automated lead time management firm Carcare has recruited former carwow executive John Miele as its new country manager to establish the Nordic company to the British market.

Miele has extensive automotive industry experience from companies like US e-commerce platform Roadster and the customer-facing sales site carwow, where he headed sales for seven years. The United Kingdom will be Carcare’s first market outside the Nordics.

”Having spoken to some of their existing customers in Sweden, I can tell just how important the platform will be to the UK market. I’m thrilled to be part of their expansion journey and look forward to helping UK dealers reap the benefits," said Miele.

Swedish Carcare launched in the northern city Östersund in 2019 and currently has close to 30 employees. Using its platform, both original equipment manufacturers and car dealers can streamline the sales process and improve margins.

Well adopted in Sweden, the platform has since launched in Norway and Finland.

”It is a tech-savvy market where we see a big interest in improving lead times. John's experience of the industry, problem solving attitude and agile way of working are a perfect match with Carcare's vision, culture and ambitions.

"His knowledge of the British car sales mar ket together with a fantastic network will take Carcare in the right direction to become a leader in lead time management in the UK,” said Lars Eriksson, founder and CEO of Carcare.
