Gary Pearson has left INEOS Automotive to join home charger specialist Andersen EV as its chief operations officer, charged with strengthening the brand's leadership team and accelerating future growth.

Gary was INEOS’s global commercial operations chief having first joined the manufacturer as its sales and marketing chief for the UK, Middle East, and North Africa for the business’s launch of the Grenadier, the OEM’s first production vehicle.

Before INEOS, Pearson held senior management positions with brands including McLaren and Audi.

David Martell, CEO of Andersen EV, said: “Gary is accustomed to propelling high growth companies within the UK automotive market, and he will play a pivotal role in further defining our brand strategy, growing global retail networks, and leading our training strategies.

“Domestic charging in the UK is becoming ever more prevalent, and as the adoption of electric vehicles is increasing, we need to ensure we have the best team in place to support the rise in demand. Gary is a well-respected figure in the automotive sector and brings a wealth of valuable and highly relevant experience to the role.

“This is an ideal time to grow our market presence as the UK is on the precipice of mass adoption of EVs. With Gary on board, we will have laser-sharp focus on Andersen EV's growth strategy in the UK and beyond by maximising our relationships with OEMs and dealer groups.”

Pearson will oversee Andersen EV’s sales, marketing, and customer services operations and expand its share of the overall home charging market.

Andersen EV has been supplying its A2 home charger since 2015 and is a recommended installer for Porsche GB and preferred supplier for Jaguar Land Rover in the UK.
